Little Lions Mighty Mite champs

The Lockhart Little Lions football players (ages 4-6) recently beat the previously unbeaten Seguin Matadors, 25-15, to win the CFPO Youth Sports Super Bowl at San Marcos’ Rattler Stadium on Nov. 19. The victory avenged the Little Lions’ only loss of the season. The players on the Little Lions attend Clear Fork and Bluebonnet elementary schools.

The Little Lions’ players include Ulysses Juarez, Cayden “Colt” Gonzales, Jesse “J.Bird” Martinez, Jackson “Big Country” Wright, Cree Roland-Cameron, Preston Sanchez, Ezekiel Gonzales, Gael Tzalam, Roman Mercado, Jaxon Anderson, Rayne Guerrero, Josiah Martinez, John Pittman, and Lucky the Lion Troy Morales. The coaches were Head Coach Memo Juarez, and assistants Alex Gonzales and Angel Martinez. The Team Mom is Amber Moncevaiz.
