The Lockhart Ladies F.C. Under-14 girls’ soccer team capped off a remarkable season with an undefeated record, marking a historic achievement for the Lockhart Youth Soccer Association.

The team became the first girls’ recreational squad from the association to advance to District competition, where they proved they belonged during a competitive two-day tournament against top teams from across the region.

Throughout the season, the players demonstrated an exceptional level of commitment, practicing twice a week and continuing to train together over the summer with additional sessions. Their dedication, willingness to learn, and determination to compete at a high level were evident on and off the field, matched by strong sportsmanship in every match.

Much of the team’s success can be credited to head coach Carlos Leon, whose patience and leadership helped guide the girls throughout the season. Leon earned the respect of his players while instilling a strong sense of pride, confidence, and accomplishment that carried the team through its historic run.

The season stands as a milestone for the Lockhart Ladies F.C. program and a testament to what teamwork, dedication, and strong coaching can achieve.
