Lockhart Lions Fishing team makes debut at Lake Conroe

 Last week was a big week for the Lockhart Lions fishing team.  

  The team made their debut as a team on Lake Conroe for their first event. 

     A beautiful day on the lake and an amazing experience for the Lions.  LISD is proud of the anglers, coach, and community for bringing the dream of establishing a fishing team to life. 

     Last October, the group “went fishing” by issuing a call-out to the community asking for the donation of items such as rods, reels, tackle, fishing gear, boats and apparel. 

     The team participates Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) Central Division, which covers tournaments across many of the Austin-area lakes.
