Lockhart Roaring Lion Band gears up for Area Marching Contest

   The pride of Lockhart is hitting the road this weekend as the LHS Roaring Lion Band and Color Guard prepare to compete in the Area Marching Contest. 

    The community is invited to gather next Saturday for a special send-off to cheer on the talented students before they take the field for their “Petal to the Medal” performance.

   The send-off will take place at 12:30 p.m. in Lockhart, with the band’s performance scheduled for 4:00 p.m. at The Pfield in Pflugerville.

   Friends, family, and supporters are encouraged to show up in full Lion spirit to wish the students good luck as they represent Lockhart on the big stage. “This is a chance for all of us to come together and show these hardworking students just how proud we are of them,” organizers said.

   Tickets for the Area Marching Contest can be purchased online through the UIL Music Region 18 website at uilmusicregion18-tickets.square.site.

   So, grab your maroon and white, bring your loudest cheers, and help send the Roaring Lion Band and Color Guard off in style. Let’s make some noise for these incredible students as they carry Lockhart pride all the way to Pflugerville.
