Lockhart soccer girls shut out Hays in district opener

BUDA — The Lockhart Lady Lions soccer team knocked off Hays, 1-0, last week in its district opener.
Lockhart scored the lone goal of the game in the second half for the victory.
Leander Glenn (8-4, 2-0) edged Lockhart, 2-1, in Friday’s action.
Lockhart is now 3-5 overall and 101 in district action.
The Lady Lions played Tuesday at Cedar Park and will host Leander Rouse on Friday at 7:15 p.m.
