Lois Pope

Lois Pope, 88, born on December 23, 1916 in Lockhart, Texas passed away on April 9, 2005 in Houston, Texas.

Lois who was affectionately known as “Grandma” by all who knew her was a volunteer at Sam Houston Hospital and worked at Jones Apothecary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Pope and is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and

Linda Pope; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Wayne Prove; grandchildren, John and wife, Rhonda Pope, David and wife, Mary Pope and Kenneth Prove; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Amy, Lauren and Rachael Pope.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday in Lockhart City Cemetery, Lockhart, Texas.
