Laura Marie Kunze, 87 of Creedmoor, passed away March 2, after a two-year battle with Heart Disease. Laura was born in Niederwald, Texas on May 25, 1927.
Laura did community work for 30 plus years with the VFW Post 8925 in Austin, where she raised money for Cancer Research. Laura enjoyed sewing, word search puzzles, and most of all, being with her grandchildren and great-grand

children. We will miss her but know, because of our faith in God instilled in us, we will see her again.
She was preceded in death by parents and loving husband Walter Kunze and several brother and sisters. She is survived by her five children: Paul Kunze (Darlene), of Nederland, Alice Hart (James), of Cedar Creek, Walter Kunze, Jr., (Connie) and Edward Kunze, of Creedmoor and Kevin Kunze (Peggy), of Wimberley; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Kelley (Don); and brother, Ruben Wagoner.
Family planned to receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4. Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 5.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1340 Wonder World Drive, Suite 4202, San Marcos, Texas 78666-7598.

    Mrs. Kunze will be missed. For many years our children attended an Easter Egg hunt at their farm. I was always greeted with a big smile and an open screen door. I will keep the Kunze Family in my thoughts and prayers. Another Angel walks through the Pearly Gates. God Bless.
