Lonnie Bruce Morris age 79 passed this life on November 11, 2006 after a long illness.
Bruce was a veteran of World War 11. Bruce was the service manager for Scrutchins Chevrolet in Luling, worked as Precinct 2 road foreman under County Commissioner Marion Crowell. He also worked for Victor Welch Oil Company and Johnson Oil Company before he again retired to devote fu

ll time to ranching. He was a member and past director of the South Texas Wolf Hunters Association. He lived most of his life in the McNeil Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Ella Mae Morris; his sister Thelma Lea Galloway; an infant son, Michael Bruce; and an infant great-grandson, Karek Richardson.
Bruce is survived by wife of 56 years, Ann L. Morris; daughter Donna L. Richardson and husband Gene of Dripping Springs; step-daughter Barbara Baker and husband Frank of Luling; sisters Margie Bozarth and Dorothy Morris both of Lockhart; five grandchildren, Frank Baker, Jr. David Baker, Beverly Baker, Justin Richardson and Patrick Richardson; four great-grandchildren, Braden and Keyden Richardson, and Emily and Lora Richardson.
He will be missed by his many friends and family.
Memorials may be sent to the Southeast Fire Dept., Luling EMS or Oak Creek Nursing Home.
Funeral arrangements will be held by O”Bannon Funeral Home
