Luis J. Castelan

Luis J. Castelan, 45, of Lockhart, passed away Sept. 4, 2014. He was born on Dec. 20, 1968, in Mexico to Gregorio and Maria Castelan.
Luis was a loving father, son, brother and uncle to his family. He played in two bands known as Intimo and Angel Y La Realeza. He also owned his own company, Luis Castelan Drywall.
He was preceded in death by his two nieces, Betty and Zared Cas

telan.
He is survived by his parents; two sons, Christopher and Luis Angel Castelan; two daughters, Merilyn and Galilea Castelan; seven brothers: Santos, Bernaldo, Moises, Andres, Angel, Agustin and Wuilfrido Castelan; six sisters: Bernalda, Pifania, Eliazar, Maria, Delfina and Rufina Castelan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family received friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2014. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, at McCurdy Funeral Home in Lockhart.
