Marie P. Hellums

Mrs. Marie P. Hellums, 86, of McMahan, died Dec. 9, 2005 in Lockhart. Mrs. Hellums was born April 4, 1919 in Lytton Springs to James Thomas and Lillie Mae Daniels Pearson.
She was united in marriage to Howard L. Hellums May 3, 1935 in Lytton Springs. Mr. Hellums preceded her in death on July 21, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ernest Wayne Hellums.

Mrs. Hellums is survived by her children, Jimmy Hellums of McMahan, Howard Lee Hellums of Austin, Morgan Hellums of San Antonio, Sammy Hellums of McMahan, Johnny Hellums of Grapeland, Doris Taylor of Taylorsville, and Kathy Murry of McMahan; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Dec. 11, 2005 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Eeds Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2005 at Eeds Funeral Home with Pastor Charley Pierson officiating. Interment followed in the Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan. Serving as pallbearers were Allen Hellums, Travis Hellums, Marty Hellums, Jason Murry, Wayne Taylor and Jessie Wayne Morgan.
