Marjorie Glass

Marjorie Glass, 79, of Lytton Springs, Texas passed away Saturday, March 10, 2007 at the Golden Age Home. She was born Dec. 3, 1927, in Lytton Springs, Texas, to Dill and Beatrice (Ward) Strawn.
Marjorie was a member of the Lytton Springs Baptist Church and spent her professional career as Vice President of Banking.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents;

her husband, George Glass, Sr.; one son, George Glass, Jr.; three brothers, DeFla, Doyle Ray and Herschel Strawn; and sister, Helen Stork.
She is survived by her sisters, Jenella Smith of Taylor, Juanita Laney of Victoria, and Pat Parrish and sister-in-law, Nelda Strawn both of Lytton Springs; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2007, in the McCurdy Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joel Thielepape officiating. Interment followed in the Lytton Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Laney, Mark Parrish, Terry Strawn, Chuck Rader, Chris Richards and Albert Kaufmann. Honorary Pallbearers were Dr. George Lowe, Dr. Harold Cain, Dr. James Crout and Dr. Jerry Tindel.
Memorials in Marjorie”s honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
