Mary Lucille Giles

Mrs. Mary Lucille Giles was born to Mr. Durey Storey and Mrs. Frances Mozella Giles September 15, 1947 in Lockhart. Texas. She earned her wings on January 27, 2024 at the age of 76.

She retired after 28 years of dedicated service at Gary Job Corps before working with victim services at the Lockhart Police Department for several years.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandmother Gennie Giles and by many cousins, aunts, and uncles including Lucille Jennings, Clarence Moore, Roy Manning and David Giles.

Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory, two brothers Clarence McKinney of Lockhart and Victor McKinney of Seguin. She did not have any children of her own but she loved her nieces and nephews as they were including Andrea McKinney, Clarence McKinney Jr, Dominic Torres, Jordan McKinney, Sean McKinney, Carson McKinney, Aron McKinney; one great grandnephew Adonius McKinney and sister-in-law Nicole McKinney.

A graveside service will be held at Hooks Cemetery in Lockhart, on February 9, 2024, at 11 AM. Services are under the care and guidance of McCurdy Funeral Home.
