Mildred Goodman
Mildred Frick Goodman, of Lockhart, passed away on Dec. 25, 2011, at the age of 88. She was born on Aug. 19, 1923, to James Cleveland and Zula Mae (Starr) Taylor.
Her parents; grandson, Marcus Buckner; two sisters, Gladys Wofford and Loma Roberts; one brother, Charles Eugene Taylor, preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. George Goodman, of Lockhart; one
son, Don and wife, Connie, of Round Rock; two stepsons, Terry Goodman and wife, Zona, and David Goodman and wife, Toni; two daughters, Penni Moore and husband, Eddie, of Silver, Texas; and Judy Carmona, of Round Rock; one stepdaughter, Linda Ramsey and husband, Sonny; two brothers, Roy A. Taylor and wife, Bonnie, and J.C. Taylor, Jr. and wife, Norma; one sister, Genevieve Ormand and husband, Bob; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family planned to receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral services were scheduled at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at McCurdy Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Larry Hargraves officiating and interment following to Lockhart City Cemetery.
