Minnie Smalley

Minnie Ysleta Penrod Smalley, of Waco, Texas, passed away on Nov. 26, 2012, at the age of 88. She was born on July 7, 1924, in Marquez, Texas, to George W., Sr. and Iva Mae (Henson) Penrod.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray W. Smalley, Jr.; her parents; and two brothers, Olan and C.W. Penrod.

She is survived by one son, Jerry Ray Smalley, of Waco; one daughter

, Stella Ann Smalley, of Waco; one brother, George Penrod, Jr., of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at McCurdy Funeral Home, from 8 a.m. – noon on Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, with graveside service to be held at 2 p.m. at Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan, Texas with Minister Bob Hailey officiating.
