Willie C. Lozano, 69, of Lockhart, Texas, passed away suddenly on Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012 at his home.

Willie was born in San Antonio, Texas. He served several years in the army. He was a salvage dealer in Lockhart and was widely known and loved in the community. Willie was known for helping others and caring about everyone he met. He loved Christmas and decorated his house ev

ery year with hundreds of Christmas lights and inflatable decorations for the neighborhood to enjoy.

He is survived by his wife, Ofelia Lozano, of Lockhart; his daughter, Sandra Mangarez, of California; step-children, Debbie Sanders and husband, Richard Sanders, of Lockhart, Lloyd Cortez, of Del Valle, Texas, and Roger Holzem, II, of Wisconsin; his grandchildren: Monica Lozano, of California, and Jason, Ryan and Brandon Sanders, of Lockhart; his sister Lillian Rivas, of California; several nieces and nephews; and several friends and relatives.

Visitation was scheduled on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 5 p.m., followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Deleon Funeral Home. Memorial service was scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 29 at 10 a.m., followed by a mass held at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Lockhart, and burial will follow at the City of Lockhart Cemetery.

Willie will be greatly missed by the community, family and friends. God bless you, and rest in peace.
