Narcisso Arias
In Loving Memory of Narcisso Arias
Narcisso Arias, a man of warmth and charm, departed this world on January 27, 2024, at the age of 73. Born on March 7, 1950, in Lockhart, Texas, to Juan and Santos Arias, he was a true Texan at heart.
Known affectionately as the “Burger King” for his BBQ prowess, Narcisso found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved being at home, caring for his car, and relishing the camaraderie of football, appreciating the game more than any particular team.
Narcisso was a culinary maestro, sharing his love for BBQ with neighbors and friends. A dedicated father, he found happiness in family and took pride in watching every wrestling match, never missing a moment. A caring and supportive brother, he was always available to help his brothers and sisters whenever they needed him. Whatever they may need, he was always there for them.
He is preceded in death by his son, Adam Arias, and siblings Nancy Lopez, Antonia Ruedas, Nick Arias, and Santiago Arias.
Narcisso is survived by his devoted wife, Hortencia Arias; son, Christopher Arias; sisters, Rosa Crisostomo, Geisla Mercado, and Bertha Arias; and granddaughters, Adamina Xochel Arias and Yuuki Naomi Arias Espinal.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Narcisso’s life at the visitation, starting at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at DeLeon Funeral Home, with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7:00 p.m. Graveside service will be Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Rodney Rodriguez, Marcos Mendoza, Michael and Nick Arias, Patrick Rojas, and Joshua Martinez.
In honoring Narcisso’s memory, let us recall the warmth he brought into our lives and the joy he found in the simple moments. May his soul rest in peace.
