Noli Busto
Noli G. Busto passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at the age of 77 in his home in Lockhart, Texas.
Noli was born in Sison, Pangasinan, Philippines on Jan. 1, 1935 to Gregoria Genese and Ignacio Busto.
His strong desire to give his children more opportunities for a better life was the driving force for the big move to the United States of America in 1982, at t
he age of 47.
Noli worked for Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) in Austin, an American multinational semiconductor company, for 20 years. His dedication to his job in the shipping and receiving department earned him great respect.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Noli is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Angela; three daughters: Wilma Perez (Al) and Minviluz Busto, all of Lockhart, and Edna Busto, of the Philippines; two sons: Noel Busto (Beth), of Luling, and Arnold Busto (Bangie), of Lockhart; 10 grandchildren (seven in the United States, three in the Philippines); and 10 great-grandchildren (six in the United States and four in the Philippines).
Respecting Noli’s wishes, his life will be celebrated with family and friends in both the United States and in the Philippines.
A funeral mass and celebration of Noli’s life was held on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at St. Mary’s of the Visitation Catholic Church, 205 W. Pecan, Lockhart, at 6 p.m.
Following the services family and friends gathered at 5804 State Park Road.
Pang, I miss you! I know you are in good hands with our Lord and not suffering anymore. You will never be forgotten! We love you! ‘Till we meet again!
