Oma Mae Barnard

Oma Mae Barnard, 90, of Red Rock, passed away Sunday, Oct. 29, 2005 in Luling, Texas. She was born on Sept. 25, 1915 in Dale, Texas to Albert Ross Alexander and Sara Anne Stephens Alexander.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles A. Barnard; son, Jimmy R. Barnard; daughter, Mary L. Barnard; sister, Virgie Hale; and brother, Roy Alexander.

She is survived by her sons, Charles A. Barnard Jr. of Lockhart, W. Dennis Barnard of Red Rock and David A. Barnard of San Saba; daughters, Alta N. Helford of Red Rock and Oma M. Stephens Post of Taylorsville; sister, Iris Riddle of Lockhart; 27 grand children and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 31, 2005 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Bateman Cemetery, Rev. Leo Miller officiating.
