What subjects do you teach: “I teach all subjects: reading, writing, science, social studies, and math.”

Hometown: “I grew up in Lago Vista, Texas.”

Where did you graduate? Texas State University with a degree in elementary education.

Favorite thing(s) about teaching at Lockhart ISD: “My favorite part about working for Lockhart is all of the support that I get from my team and administration. They push me every day to grow and be the best teacher for my students.”

How would your friends describe you? “Dedicated, caring, and reliable.”

Values most important to you: “Integrity, honesty, and hard work.”

Talents: “I am great at being flexible and adapting through challenges with resilience.”

Favorite books: “I love reading fiction stories! I challenge myself each year to read 50 books.”

Favorite Music: “I am a huge ‘Swiftie!’ I love listening to Taylor Swift.”

Hobbies: “I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I always like trying new things and getting out of my comfort zone.”

What Inspires You? “I am inspired by my dad. He is the person I look to when I need advice. He embodies what it means to be compassionate, ambitious, and humble in every aspect of his life.”

Family: “I met my husband, Clark, in college at Texas State. We live in Buda with my 3-year-old son, Clay. Being a wife and mom fills my life with so much purpose and joy!”
