Patrick Edgar Kenney

Patrick Edgar Kenney, a humble and quiet man, was an outdoorsman, master wood craftsman, Mr. Fix It, professional Lotto ticket scratcher, and a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle.  Patrick spent the majority of his impressive career designing and building custom cabinetry, furniture and specialty items for Lifetime Cabinets in Austin, Texas where he collaborated with world renowned craftsman, architects and designers.

On June 17, 2025 at the age of 60, Patrick went home to be with his Lord and Savior.  He was dearly loved by his family and many friends and will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched.  His hard working hands and loving and generous heart are now at rest.

Patrick was born in San Antonio, TX and spent his childhood in Lockhart, TX.  He is preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Leona Kenney; son, Brandon Dray Kenney; and brother-in-law, Robert Dembowski.  He is survived by his daughters, Jamie L. Pompa (Roy) and Ashlee D. Kenney; grandchildren, Eddie, Aamori and Brooklyn; sisters and brothers, Denise, Ernest (Kathy), Patricia (Frank), Amy (Oscar) and Wayne (Mary); nieces and nephews, Benjamin, Andrew, Lauren (Guy), Cameron (Amanda), Dylan and Shane (Frances); as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

The family wishes to thank Freida Jones and family for loving and supporting Patrick for many years.

A public visitation will be held at Thomason Funeral Home in Lockhart TX on June 27, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm with a memorial service beginning at 2 pm. Interment of ashes will be held at Bunton Cemetery in Dale, TX. at a later date by his family.
