Paul Michael Cochran was born on July 6, 1971, in Lockhart, Texas. After graduating from Lockhart High School in 1990, Paul worked for Faulkner Ranch, TDS and for a very brief time at Walgreens. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and spending time with his friends.
In 2010, Paul underwent a bilateral lung transplant at St. Paul Hospital UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. In Aug

ust 2015, Paul’s health took a drastic decline. On Sept. 18, 2015, Paul passed away at UT Southwestern Clements University Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Paul was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Carl and Flo Roberts, and paternal grandparents, Ed and Dorothy Cochran.
Paul is survived by his parents, Gary and Linda Cochran; sister, Kelley Garcia and brother-in-law, Eric Garcia; nephews, Noah and Nathan Garcia; and niece, Nellie Garcia, all of Lockhart. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held, Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Lockhart, Texas. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be dedicated to the Lung Transplant Program, St. Paul Medical Foundation, UT Southwestern Medical Center, PO Box 36423, Dallas, Texas 75235-9662.

    Paul was one of the sweetest person I’ve met. He had such a gentle heart. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Cochran family.
