Renee G. Baer

Renee G. Baer, 80, of Lockhart passed away on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.
She was born Dec. 14, 1925 in Elm Creek Neb.
Renee loved the arts, reading, entertaining and travel. She approached both life and death with great grace and dignity.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Marlin C. “Smokey” Baer; brothers Fred Glass of Gunnison, Colo. and Jim Glass of

Vista, Calif.; sisters June Hill of Upland, Calif., Lucille Hubman of Morgan Hill, Calif. and Joyce Lukens of Talent, Ore. She also leaves behind two sons, W. Craig Nex of Shawnee, Kan., and Patrick Nex of Austin; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Service of Grateful Memory will be held at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Lockhart on Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Randy Frye officiating.
Her cremation was handled by All Faiths Funeral Services Soiuth of Austin, Texas.
