Roxy Craig Robinson

 Roxy Craig Robinson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 83. He was born on December 15, 1942, in Denver, Colorado.

    Roxy attended school in Bishop, Texas where he made many lifelong friendships. He briefly attended Texas A & I University before beginning his career and building a life centered around his family, friends, and community.

    On May 26, 1962, Roxy married the love of his life, Martha Ann Sutton. Together they shared more than 57 years of marriage and built a loving family. Martha preceded him in death on November 14, 2019.

    Roxy retired from Hoechst Celanese on January 1, 1998. Following his retirement, he and Martha spent six wonderful years as full-time RVers. They enjoyed traveling and exploring 20 states, making memories and enjoying the adventures along the way.

    Roxy had many interests and talents. He loved fishing, listening to music, and working with his hands. He had a natural ability for mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and plumbing work and could always be counted on to figure out how to fix, build, or repair whatever was needed.

    One of Roxy’s greatest passions was youth baseball. He served as president of Little League Baseball and later assistant commissioner for East Babe Ruth Baseball, work he truly loved. He wrote a standardized book for tournament play in East Texas Babe Ruth baseball, which eventually became the standard for the Southwest Region. His dedication to young athletes and the game of baseball left a lasting legacy in the communities he served.

        He is survived by his three children, Dinna Tolley and husband Andy of Lockhart, Texas; Russell Robinson and wife Dana of Bay City, Texas; and Jason Robinson and wife Tracey of Lockhart, Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and his brother Randy Robinson and wife Margaret, along with numerous extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

    Roxy was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marth Ann Robinson; his parents, Shirley Robinson and Weldon Robinson; his brothers Robbie Robinson and Rick Robinson; his sister, Rhonda Hatfield, and his grandson, Ryan.

     Roxy will be remembered for his generous spirit, his willingness to help others, his love of family, his many talents, and his dedication to baseball and the young people whose lives he touched. He leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love, friendship, service, and family that will live on through the generations.

    Visitation will be September 24 from 5-7 at Thomason Funeral Home, Lockhart, TX. Services will be graveside September 25 at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park in New Braunfels, TX.
