Sandra Lee Lockhart Motloch Longoria

She was born January 26, 1946, in Providence, Rhode Island to Edna Earle Lockhart. Sandra passed away peacefully August 16, 2025, at the age of 79 from two major strokes.
She was raised by her grandmother, Margaret Lee Walker. Sandra attended Palm Elementary School, University Junior High and was the first in the family to graduate at Austin High School in 1965. She also attended Austin Community College numerous times.
Over the course of her working career, Sandra worked at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Internal Revenue Services, Emergency Medical Services in Austin, the Rape Crisis Center in Marble Falls and Lockhart ISD. She retired from Del Valle ISD in 2015 and continued to work at the Austin Driving School until 2023, after 30 years of dedicated service. Sandra even was an owner of a bar in the 1980’s.
Her passion in life was taking pictures of people, animals and nature. Her eye for photography resulted in beautiful photos. Sandra’s hobbies also include finding a deal at Goodwill, thrift stores and garage sales. She was known as the “Garage Sale Queen”. Every Saturday morning, she would wake up super early to be one of the first customers. She loved mirrors and unique boxes,
Sandra is survived by her loving soul mate of 33 years, Johnathan Hemme of Lytton Springs, TX; daughter, Laura Turner (Raymond Wendel) of Kingsbury, TX; son, August Motloch III (Sandra) of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren, Ashley Motloch of Lockhart, TX, Matthew Bebee (Claire) of Houston, TX, August Motloch IV of Lampassas, TX, and Wesley Motloch (Briana) of Lampassas, TX; and two great granddaughters Amanda McCarty and Gwen Bebee. She also leaves behind her cherished dogs.
Sandra was a kind giving person who helped many people that were in need of a helping hand. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

A service celebrating the Life of Sandra Motloch Longoria will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 20 at McCurdy Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 10 AM.
