AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS, AMENDING CHAPTER 6, ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES, SECTION 6-2(a) AND 6-2(b) OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

ORDINANCE 2011-16

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART, TEXAS, CHANGING CERTAIN CITY ELECTION POLLING PLACES FOR THE JOINT ELECTION OF THE CITY OF LOCKHART AND CALDWELL COUNTY TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 8, 2011 IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH THE CONSOLIDATION OF PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES BY CALDWELL COUNTY.

DEPOSITORY BANKING SERVICES

The City of Lockhart (the City) will be accepting applications for banking depository services for fiscal year(s) 2012-2014.

Sealed applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m., September 23, 2011 at the City’s offices located at 308 W. San Antonio, Lockhart, TX 78644.  Submission instructions and information may be obtained from Stephanie House, Controller at 512/398-3461.  It is the responsibility of the firm to insure that the application is received by the City by the date and time specified above.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all applications received.  Only applications received at the location desired and in the time frame given will be considered.

The Caldwell County Emergency Services District #2 will hold a meeting at 07:00 PM on September 22, 2011, at 9655 Hwy 142, Maxwell, TX 78656 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2011. The proposed tax rate is 0.100000 per $100 of value.

The proposed tax rate would increase total taxes in Caldwell County Emergency Services District #2 by 10.375276 percent.

PUBLIC NOTICE

Caldwell County is accepting bids for the following used equipment:

One (1) self-propelled lift with a vertical platform with a reach of between 85 ft. and 90 ft. Platform weight limit of 500 lbs. The machine must be no more than seven (7) years old and less than 3,000 hours in service.
