St. Mary’s Catholic Church hosts annual event

Above, Santa poses with vendors at the St. Mary’s of the Visitation Catholic Church Jamaica Committee’s annual Christmas Art and Craft event. The event, held on December 7, also included their fresh homemade menudo and tamales,  where the Menudo was sold out by 10 am. The event brought in hundreds of people to the St. Mary’s Parish Hall on Pecan Street in Lockhart.    The event had a variety of vendors with handmade items perfect for Christmas gifts. Santa visited with children of all ages from 9 am to noon. Children could even get their picture taken and received a candy bag.  Photo by Hector Range
