TAFE members organize Cuddle for a Cause drive
LHS TAFE
Lockhart High School TAFE members Leland Ramirez and Jacque Roe, both juniors, are organizing a community-wide donation drive to support women and children at the Lockhart Women’s Shelter.
They have organized a service project for our local TAFE chapter called “Cuddles for a Cause” with the slogan “Basket Full of Love.” It will be a donation drive on Nov. 11 in front of the Lockhart High School carpool lane, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. We kindly ask for your presence and support to help our community.
This service project aims to provide assistance to children who have been displaced from their homes by CPS and placed into foster care. We kindly request your generous donations of the listed items to offer the additional support these children need during this challenging time. Once we have collected all the donations, we will create baskets containing these items, including a Build-A-Bear for extra comfort.
Items needed include toothpaste and toothbrushes, socks, blankets, deodorant, snacks, lotion, hairbrush, tissues, small toys, body sprays, lip balm, soap (bars preferred), hand sanitizer, coloring books, crayons, markers, books, and puzzles.
