Hometown:  “I have lived here in Lockhart since I started working here, but I lived in Mexico originally.”

Where did you graduate? “I graduated from The University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley in 2020 (covid year) and I am a Bilingual EC-6 certified teacher.”

Favorite thing(s) about teaching at Lockhart ISD: “I love working for Lockhart ISD because they always prioritize us as teachers. I also love our community.”

How would your friends describe you? “I think my friends would describe me as someone who is calm, happy, and who advocates for her students.”

What values are important to you? “I value honesty, hard work and always giving your best.”

Talents: “A talent I have is that I know the lyrics to every song and that I am a great translator.”

Favorite Books: “I love magical realism. Lately, I am loving Isabel Allende and some Portuguese books as well.”

Favorite Music: “I love songs by a Mexican artist called Caloncho. I highly recommend them.”

What inspires you? “My students and my family will always be my inspirations.”

Family: “My parents, my brother, and my lovely cat, Nina.”
