Subjects: “I teach phonics, reading, writing, math, science, and social studies in a self contained classroom.”

Hometown: Houston

Where did you graduate? “I graduated in May 2024 from Texas State University in San Marcos. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I’m currently enrolled in the Texas State Fellows program where I am teaching and working on my Master’s degree at the same time.”

Favorite thing(s) about teaching at Lockhart ISD: “Some of my favorite things about teaching in Lockhart ISD are being able to work alongside amazing people and the small hometown feel.”

How would your friends describe you? “Outgoing, funny, thoughtful, intentional, and energetic.”

What values are important to you? “Family, creativity, and courage.”

Talents: “Patience and public speaking.”

Favorite Books: “My favorite book to read aloud to my students is Recess Queen.”

Favorite Music: “R&B.”

Hobbies: “Shopping and creating fun activities for my classroom.”

What inspires you? “My students inspire me.”

Family: “My mom lives in Houston and I have 9 siblings. I have a Dad that’s my guardian angel.”
