Wade Albert Schneider, 54, of Lockhart Texas, left this beautiful world August 1, 2010. Wade Albert was born Jan. 10, 1956 in Lockhart Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Schneider.

His father, Robert E. Schneider and mother, Millicent Lou Schneider, preceded him in death.

Wade was a welder and fisherman by trade and a father and friend by night. To those who love

d him and to those who knew him, we should all remember the best things about him. He was a kind soul with a cowboy heart, that would go out of his way to help anyone. He was always there through thick and thin to make sure everyone fell asleep with the best of dreams. To the family he has left and “The Boys” that will keep his spirit alive, we can all be blessed that he was a part of our lives. He fought a good fight and stood up to what said couldn’t be done; but of course Wade-O proved it all wrong. He is watching us from a better place now, and if you look up one night you just might see that wonderful smile and hear the words, “Everything is going to be just fine.”

Wade is survived by his sons, Donald W. Schneider and wife, Vicki, and Cameron Cody Schneider and fiancée, Tiffany Russell; daughters, Samantha Costello and husband, Marty, and Liberty Adler and the family’s “angel in disguise,” Shane Brossard; sisters, Susan Southard and Linda Schneider; brothers, Jess Schneider and Warren Ben; grandchildren: Casey Schneider, Savanna Schneider, Tygan Schneider, Zoee Thacker, James Lipscomb, Haden Lipscomb, Bailey Lipscomb, Kaitlyn Lipscomb, Chase Pina and Cole Brossard; and 13 nieces and nephews.
The family extends special thanks to Mark Campbell, Terry Rheinlander, Paul Rheinlander, Dan Rheinlander and Jeffrey Campbell for their friendship, dedication and support.

They would also like to thank the Hospice Vista Care Group for taking such wonderful care of Wade, and the family, in this time of need.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Methodist Church in Lockhart. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials to Vista Care Hospice, 1911 Corporate Dr., Suite 104, San Marcos, Texas 78666.

Arrangements under the care and guidance of Eeds Funeral Home, 408 S. Main, Lockhart, Texas. (512)398-2343.
