Mr. Walden B. Potthoff, 82, of Mesa, Ariz., passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007. He was born on Aug. 16, 1924 in Austin, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Marylyn Potthoff.
Walden was retired from Mountain State Telephone and was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Walden was a member of Saint Paul”s United Church of Christ a

nd Lytton Spring Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his son Kenneth Potthoff and daughter-in-law Paulette Potthoff of Houston; his daughter Gayle Smith and son-in-law Don Smith of Mesa, Ariz.; and his son Neil Potthoff and daughter-in-law Nancy Potthoff of Phoenix, Ariz.; together with seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on July 14, 2007, at the Lockhart City Cemetery under the auspices of Rev. Carolyn Rosenbalm and Rev Richard M. Vaughan. Masonic grave sideservices will be under the auspices of Lytton Spring Masonic Lodge #487.
