Inez Kaufman
Born Willie Inez Schulenberg, on Nov. 20, 1915, in Austin. The Lord called her home on Wednesday, Dec. 27 after enduring a long and courageous battle with cancer and dementia. She was loved by all who met her and will be remembered for her giving heart, loving spirit, quick wit, love of laughter, great meals and her love for the Lord.

d Lisa Williams; daughter Sandy Taylor and husband Jim; sons Dwayne Kaufman and wife Cathy, Genie Kaufman and wife Chris and Freddie Kaufman and wife Alice; grandchildren Lori, Lisa, Tina, Tabitha, Scott, Beverly, Stephen, Janice and Judy, their spouses and children; dear cousin Billy Means and wife Wilma; beloved nieces Teenie, Gabby, Mary, Darlene, Wanda, their spouses and children; and countless friends.
Mother was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ray Kaufman, in 1993, to whom she was married 60 years and her second husband and companion for 10 years, Morris Chamberlain, in 2005.
Our very special thanks to Dr. Samson Jesudass, Dorothy Hendricks, the nurses and staff at Edgar B. Davis Hospital in Luling and the staff of Oakwood Nursing Home.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 29, at 12 p.m. with funeral services following at 2 p.m. at the Clements-Wilcox Chapel in Burnet, Texas, with interment at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park in Burnet, right next to Daddy.
Pallbearers were John Israel, Donald Maher, George Williams, Larry Burditt, Mike Jennings and Scott Maupin.
