Erwin Schulle
Erwin Schulle, 99, passed through death to eternal life on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008.
Erwin was a long-time resident and farmer of the Maxwell community and life-long member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church of Maxwell. He was also active for over 70 years with the Order of the Sons of Hermann Lodge #75, and numerous senior groups in Caldwell County.
Erwin is survived by
his sons, Sherrill Schulle, and wife, Kathy, of Driftwood, and Arvel Schulle, and wife, Iris, of New Braunfels; step-daughter, Mickey Glins, of Lockhart; and granddaughter, Jennifer Schulle, of Washington D.C., as well as a host of relatives and friends.
Erwin was preceded in death by his first wife Lera Winkler Schulle and second wife Frieda Buethe Schulle.
Visitation with family was held on Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, with a memorial service on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, with Rev. Craig Gabriel officiating. Interment was held at Ebenezer Church Cemetery. Family served as pallbearers.
The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff and personnel of Chisolm Trail Living and Rehab Center for their kindness and special care, as well as to Pastor Craig Gabriel for his ministry and care to the Schulle Family.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Ebenezer Lutheran Church in memory of Erwin Schulle.
