Jaime Humberto Ruiz

Jaime Humberto Ruiz, 83, beloved Father and husband, was called to his eternal resting place on April 10, 2022. He entered this world on March 13, 1939 in Lockhart, Texas, born to Jose and Maria Ruiz.Mr. Ruiz was preceded in death by his sons, Gabriel Ruiz, and Michael Anthony Ruiz.He worked as a market manager in San Antonio, Texas, beginning his carrer for Handy Andy and later went on his own, promoting dances with bands and movie stars from Mexico. Empresa Ruiz would arrange dances at the convention center in San Antonio and also at the Antonian Ball Room. 
In 1979 he moved to Las Vegas, Nevada with his family to further improve his family life. He worked in sports information, opening his business Millionaire Sport Service. Information was sold to customers to help place their bets with the best available information available.He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Maria Magdalena Ruiz, sons, Richard A. Ruiz, Jimmy Ruiz, Jr., sisters, Gloria Gross and Lydia Ruiz, Mary Louise De La Garza (Mike De La Garza), Sheryl G. Salinas, Kathy D. Negrete, and a grandson, Bryan.Recitation of the holy rosary will be Sunday, May 1, 2022 at DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday, May 2, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in San Isidro Cemetery Cemetery in Fentress, Texas.
