Annette V. Rivas

Mrs. Annette V. Rivas, 64, of San Marcos, passed away Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009. She was born Jan. 1, 1945.

Mrs. Rivas is survived by her husband, Jesse Garcia Rivas; sons: Victor Rivas and Jesse Rivas, Jr.; sisters: Josie Yanez, Sulema Torres and Dolores Gonzales; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Prayer service was held at 7

p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at the DeLeon Funeral Home. Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009, at Faith Fe Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in Santa Maria Aida Cemetery in Maxwell, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers were Adrian Rubio, James Tanguma, Nick Juarez, Patsy Juarez, Ralph Yanez and Mike Yanez.
