M.B. Shirley

M.B. Shirley, 84, passed away on Sunday morning, April 25, 2010, in Luling, Texas. M.B. was born in Red Rock, Texas, to Vesta (Baize) and Marion B. Shirley Sr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Velera Fay Shirley, on March 7, 1999.

M.B. is survived by his children: Jimilu Reed, Jo Ann Walenta and James “Buster” Shirley, all of Dale, Texas; and one sister, Im

a Gene Shirley, of Canyon Lake, Texas. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A visitation was held at Eeds Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, from 6 – 8 p.m., with family and friends in attendance. Funeral services were held at Eeds Funeral Home Chapel, in Lockhart, Texas at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, with David Moxley officiating. Interment followed at Bunton Cemetery in Dale, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers were James Baize, James Barnett, Cleddy Baize, Chris Hagan, Randy Till and Edward Kruemmer.
