Hats Off for Veterans serving the public in various ways
Join them for a Veterans resource fair on April 19

Kyle, Texas
Hats Off For Veterans (HOFV) is proud to announce its upcoming Veterans Resource Fair taking place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Texas Old Town. This community-focused event is designed to connect veterans and their families with valuable resources, services, and support organizations from across Texas.
Veterans are invited to attend free of charge with proper identification, making this an accessible opportunity to explore benefits, programs, and services available to those who have served. The resource fair will feature a variety of vendors and organizations offering information on healthcare, education, employment, and veteran support services.
In addition to the resource fair, attendees can enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with food and refreshments available for purchase. BBQ plates, along with soda and bottled water, will be available on-site. Guests ages 21 and over are welcome to bring their own beverages (BYOB).
Proceeds from the event will directly support Hats Off For Veterans’ mission of serving Texas veterans through higher education scholarships and professional development grants, helping veterans achieve their academic and career goals.
“This event is about more than just gathering resources, it’s about building community and ensuring our veterans know they are supported,” said Lisa Adams, Founder and CEO of Hats Off For Veterans.

Four $500 Scholarships to be awarded to area seniors
KYLE, TEXAS
Hats Off For Veterans (HOFV), a Texas-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting veterans and their families, is proud to announce the MSG Jimmie Quintero Scholarship, awarding four (4) scholarships of $500 each to Texas high school seniors who have committed to serving in the United States Armed Forces.
Applications are open now and will close on April 30, 2026.
This scholarship honors the legacy of Master Sergeant Jimmie Quintero, a respected U.S. Army veteran and community leader, by recognizing and supporting graduating seniors who choose military service upon graduation.
“While many scholarships focus on students pursuing higher education, we believe those who answer the call to serve our country deserve recognition and support as well,” said Lisa Adams, CEO of Hats Off For Veterans. “These young men and women are stepping up to serve, and we are proud to stand behind them.”
Eligible applicants must be Texas high school seniors who have officially committed to enlist in any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces prior to graduation and have completed the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) process. Applicants must provide proof of enlistment or a signed enlistment contract. Delayed Entry Program (DEP) documentation alone will not be accepted.
Winners will be notified via email and phone, and scholarship checks will be presented in person on May 14, 2026, during a special recognition ceremony.
HOFV continues to expand its impact across Texas by providing scholarships, professional development grants, and mental health resources to veterans and their families. As an all-volunteer organization, HOFV relies on community support to sustain and grow its programs.
