Alison Wilson, 74, passed away on Dec. 25, 2007. She was born on Aug. 18, 1933 in Mingaladon, Burma. She spent her early years in England, and later served as a member of the British Royal Airforce. She married MSgt. Robert Carroll Wilson, USAF, after which she lovingly devoted her life to their family.
They made their home near Lockhart in 1973, and have resided there

since.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her sister, Sylvia.
She is survived by her children, Denise and Robby Sale of Lockhart, Robert and Ada Wilson of Miami, Fla., John and Jan Wilson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Clifford and Shaela Wilson of Lockhart; brother-in-law, Roy Bradbury of Oxford, England; and six grandchildren, Sylvia Andrewartha, John Robert Wilson, Breezy Tucker, Richard Wilson, Sandra Wilson and Jenny Sale, who love her very much.
Alison was an active member of the Episcopal Church in Lockhart and surrounding areas, participating in the church Women”s group and Cursillo. She enjoyed bird watching and wildflowers, and volunteered at the Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin.
In her later years, she spent countless hours volunteering with local EMS and law enforcement agencies as a member of the Victims Assistance Team, and was awarded the first VAT volunteer of the year award. The testimony of her faith and compassion in every aspect of her daily life touched the lives of everyone who met her. Alison has given us many great memories and much to aspire to.
A celebration of a life well lived will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Lockhart on Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her name to the charity of one”s choice.
