Bonita Blundell Moore, 87, of Lockhart, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2005 in Lockhart, Texas. She was born on Dec. 29, 1917 in Lockhart, Texas to Fred L. Blundell and wife, Bonita Rolsten Blundell.
She is preceded by her parents and husband, O. T. Moore, Jr. (March 10, 1989) and survived by her two sons, O. T. Moore, III of Thorndale and Fred Moore and wife, Laura

of Lockhart; two grandsons, Ben Moore of Austin and John Moore of Idyllwild, California; sister-in-law, Frances Duce of Lockhart; two nephews, Charles Kimbrough of Lockhart and Jack Duce of Clear Lake; four nieces, Judy Satterfield of Lockhart, Joan Shipnes of Austin, Linda Elmore of Victoria and Rosemary Hicks of Austin; 13 great nieces and nephews.
Bonita Blundell Moore was a life long member of First Christian Church of Lockhart wherein she was the organist for many years; a member of Texas Classroom Teachers Assn.; a Third grade teacher in Lockhart ISD until 1964 and a member of numerous local, state and national bridge associations. Her interest involved attending college-sporting events, traveling and playing duplicate bridge.
Visitation was held at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 24 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 25 at McCurdy Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at the Lockhart City Cemetery, Rev. Randall Frye and Rev. Carolyn Rosenbalm, officiating. Pallbearers were Ben Moore, John Moore, Jack Duce, Charles Hicks, John Hicks, James Kimbrough and Clay Kimbrough.
Arrangements under the care of McCurdy Funeral Home, 105 E. Pecan St., Lockhart.
