On Wednesday, March 29, 2006, our Dad, Colonel Philip E. Ridley, was taken from us unexpectedly.
He leaves behind his loving wife and partner of 34 years, Sisi. He was loved and will be missed by his children, David and Dona Ridley, Charlotte and Mickey O”Riley, Bobby and Doris Ridley, Richard Short, Debra and Ken Hurst, Linda Dart, his brother Bob and wife Virginia Ri

dley, and by a regiment of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
We celebrate all of our Dad”s accomplishments, including his graduation from the University of Texas in Austin, his exemplary military career in the Army, and many other endeavors.
Our Dad enlisted in the U.S. Army on Oct. 14, 1944, and served in World War II with honors. He retired on his birthday, May 12, 1986, at the age of 60, at the rank of Colonel.
He was a member of the American Legion in Lockhart and was a proud American.
He was a loving and devoted husband and father and we will dearly miss his wink, smile, soft chuckle and his occasional salute.
Good show, Paw Paw! You are so loved.
The Ridley family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Georgetown Hospital, and to our friends for your prayers and help during this time.
