David Joe Kinsfather, of Luling Texas, sadly passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 75. He was one of three sons welcomed by parents Reuben and Martha Fiebrich Kinsfather.   He is survived by his 5 kids, 16 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

David was a loving father and an incredibly hard worker.  He spent 26 years as a peace officer for the Austin Police Department.  Throughout his career, he had many posts, but truly enjoyed his many years as a motorcycle officer.  After retiring from the force in 1995, David decided to explore his entrepreneurial ambitions by opening his own gravel hauling business, Kinsey Hauling.  David enjoyed helping others and was always willing to lend an open hand.

The father of 5, enjoyed spending precious time with all his children.  Whether they were working on a tractor, fishing, or riding motorcycles, David truly enjoyed his unique relationship with each of his children.  Growing up, some of his children’s fondest memories are of going for long rides on David’s Goldwing motorcycle, playing pool while listening to country music, or having target practice in his backyard.

David has left a whole in the hearts of many, but his legacy will live on with his sons, David Scott Kinsfather of Giddings and Andrew Kinsfather of Niederwald; his daughters, Stacy Holden (Robert), Jennifer Duffourc (Laine) both of Luling and Kristan Rudloff (Kim) of Peoria, AZ. He is also survived by his 16 grandchildren: Cody Kinsfather, Dalton Kinsfather, Kasey Williams, Katy Jurek, Dakota Holden, Dustin Holden, David Holden, Marcos Holden, James Holden, Ali Holden and Shanna Holden, Addison Rudloff, Mason Rudloff, Elisa Duffourc, Haedyn Duffourc and Mackenzie Duffourc; 3 great grandchildren Grace Williams, Holly Williams, and Everly Jones and his brother, Daniel Kinsfather of San Antonio.

David is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Dennis Kinsfather and a grandson, Spencer Duncan.

Please join David’s family and friends in a celebration of life, February 20, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. held at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church, in Joliet Texas.
