DeAndre Thompson


DeAndre Terrell Thompson, 20, died in his San Antonio home Wednesday morning, Oct. 22, 2014.

He was born in San Marcos to Rachael Arreola and Gregory Thompson on Sept. 2 1994.

DeAndre was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Annie Mae Thompson; his great-grandfather, Olan Thompson, Sr.; his grandmother, Sandra Thompson; and his great-uncle, Olan Thompson, Jr.


rvivors include his mother, Rachael Arreola and her fiancé, Brandin Kelly; his father, Gregory Thompson and his fiancée, Marie Alvarado; brothers, George Casarez and Ty Washington; sisters, Gina Ornelas and Makiyah Armstrong; maternal grandparents, Jesse Arreola and Sylvia Arreola and her husband, Manuel Flores; paternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Thompson; great-grandmother, Geraldine Cabiness; uncles David Arreola and Michael Thompson; aunts Andrea Trevino, Tisha Thompson and Michelle Thompson; and his high school sweetheart, Kiana Evans; along with numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles and many friends who were just like brothers and sisters to him.

He was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.

A viewing was conducted from 5 – 9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28 at Eeds Funeral Home, 408 S. Main St. in Lockhart, Texas.

At 10 a.m. Wednesday, visitation did continue at the funeral home for a procession to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 602 East Live Oak St. in Lockhart, where Pastor Mae Fletcher conducted a funeral service at 11 a.m. The service followed by a procession to Hooks Cemetery, 1600 Old Kelly Rd., in Lockhart for graveside services.     DeAndre we love you and will miss you dearly, grandson. May you rest in peace. You are now in your eternal resting place. You were loved so much and you and your beautiful smile will live on in our hearts forever!
