Kenneth Eugene Crabill

Kenneth Eugene Crabill, 86, of Lockhart Texas, passed away peacefully on February 28th, 2022. Ken was
born in Washington County , Pennsylvania on July 11th, 1935 to Keith H. Crabill and Janet (Davies) Crabill.
He joined the Air Force in May, 1954 and retired after 25 years of service in May, 1979 as a Senior Master
Sergeant. Once retired he worked for Dales Auto Repair until he was hired by the City of Austin in the
Fleet Services Division in 1983. Ken retired from the City of Austin in December 1997 after 14 years of
Service.
He married Mary Ann Buxbaum in Montana in August of 1956. The couple have four children Mike,
Kenneth, Sheryl, and Debbie. The family traveled extensively due to Ken’s Military service until settling at
Bergstrom AFB in 1973, where they remained until he retired. They moved to Lockhart, Texas in 1997
when both He and Mary Ann retired from the City of Austin. Ken was an avid Golfer and played almost
every day in retirement.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, sister Bea Joy Puco, all four
children, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
