Leon “Trinidad” Marrufo Juarez, 74, of Lockhart, passed away in Austin Sunday, May 22, 2005. He was born on April 11, 1931 in Lockhart, Texas to Emilio and Petra (Manoya) Juarez. Leon is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tony M. Juarez and sister, Anita Villalobos.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Juarez of Lockhart; sons, Johnny C. Juarez and Sheree Courne

y of Buda, Jimmy C. Juarez and wife Linda of Lockhart; daughter Sandra Zieschang and husband Randal of Texarkana; brothers, Big Pete Juarez, Eladio Juarez, Little Pete Juarez, Albert Juarez, Alfonso Juarez, Emilio C. Juarez II and Joe Juarez; sisters, Adela Fernandez, Nellie Zuniga and Vickey Perez; ten grandchildren and five great-grand children.
Mr. Juarez was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who loved to cook, feed his family and visitors. He watched over his family, making certain their needs were met. Family was his joy, his reward and his most precious gift. He will be greatly missed.
Rosary was held on Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at McCurdy Funeral Home. Services were held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at St. Mary”s Catholic Church. Interment followed at the St. Mary”s Cemetery, Father Robert Becker, officiating.
Pallbearers attending were Joe Juarez, Emilio Juarez II, James Capello, Alfonso Juarez, David Juarez and John Perez, III. Honorary were Big Pete Juarez, Eldio Juarez, Little Pete Juarez, Albert Juarez and Norbert Capello.
