Lockhart Lions Varsity Can’t Catch Up To Manor
Lockhart Lions Varsity watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 4-2 loss to Manor on Thursday. Manor scored on an error, a single by Staff, and a passed ball during D. Adams‘s at bat in the second inning.
Manor got on the board in the second inning. An error scored one run for Manor.
Staff led Manor with two hits in three at bats.
Lockhart Lions Varsity Claims Lead In Fifth Inning To Defeat Hyde Park
Lockhart Lions Varsity defeated Hyde Park 7-3 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at three with Lockhart Lions Varsity batting in the bottom of the fifth when RJ Torres singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
In the top of the third inning, Hyde Park tied things up at three when an error scored two runs for Hyde Park.
Taylor took the loss for Hyde Park. The bulldog went one inning, allowing two runs on one hit and striking out two.
Waldrop started the game for Hyde Park. The hurler surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out one and walking one

Lockhart Lions Varsity lost despite out-hitting Del Valle five to two.
Del Valle got on the board in the first inning when Diego Sandoval lined out, driving in a run.
Marco Morales was credited with the victory for Del Valle. The fireballer allowed five hits and two runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking one. Christian Mendoza and David Mathieson entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Lockhart Lions Varsity Takes Victory Over Smithville, 4-2
Lockhart Lions Varsity defeated Smithville 4-2 on Monday.
Ivan Gonzales earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for Lockhart Lions Varsity. The hurler lasted six innings, allowing six hits and one run while striking out four and walking zero. Jacob Contreras threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Contreras recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Lockhart Lions Varsity.
Fisher Proise took the loss for Smithville. The hurler lasted three and a third innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking zero.
