LTX Titans Roll to 42-0 Victory

The Titans traveled to San Antonio on Saturday, Sept. 17, and rolled to a 42-0 win over the Eagles. The Titans defense set the tone right from the start.

Brandon Ramirez and ran 20 yards for the first touchdown followed up by Darius Hill scoring the two-point conversion.
Head Coach Willie Clay said the defense played outstanding and allowed only one first down the entire game. The Wrecking Crew on defense was Daniel Hill, Brandon Davis, Chris Jackson, and Kenneth Romo, which all received one fumble recovery each.
Fighting along beside them was the rest of the Wrecking Crew: Edward Hernandez, Aron Monceviaz, Adam Galvan, Kia Brewer, Nathan Guerrero, Ryan Reed, Clay Barnett, Dquan Hedspeth, and George Gomez.
Coach Don Luna and Coach Shawn Wilson stated that the offensive and defensive lines did an outstanding job by blocking and tackling throughout the entire game by Zach Garza, Elliot Silva, Justin Luna, Cameron Davis, and AJ Rangel.
Quarterback Brandon Ramirez was on target all day with TD passes to Jordan Huckaby, Nathan Guerrero, and an extra point toss to Edward Hernandez. Other touchdowns that contributed to the victory were Saivon Thompson, who ran for two touchdowns for 40 yards and 25 yards each. Brandon McNabb scored on a 6-yard run up the middle and Darius Hill ran in for the two-point conversion.
“The Titans like to thank the parents and fans for traveling and supporting the out of town games,” Coach Clay said. “We are representing Lockhart very well, and we thank you very much for all that you do.”
The Titans will host their first home game this Saturday, Sept. 24, against the San Antonio Broncos at the Junior High Field. The game times are LTX Flag at l0 a.m., LTX Rookies at 11:30 a.m., and LTX Juniors at 1:30 p.m.
