Lyman Demont Harmon, 76, was born on June 7, 1932 in Lewisville, Ind., and passed away on Oct. 18, 2008.Lyman had proudly served in the US Army for 26 years.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Gudrun D. (Gerstenhauer); children, Andreas Lyman Harmon and Valerie Lee Fortner; siblings, Colleen Lang of San Marcos, Texas, and Judy Davis of Lockhart, Texas; and moth

er, Verona Harmon of Lockhart, Texas.

A viewing was scheduled on Wednesday, Oct. 22, from 4 – 7 p.m. and funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 23 at 4 p.m. Both services will be at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel; 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain, Colo. Interment will take place at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colo. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bipolar Disorder Research in Lyman’s memory to: TGen Foundation, One Arizona Center, 400 E. Van Buren Street, Suite 850, Phoenix, Ariz., 85004.
