Pair of LHS powerlifters qualify for State Meet

Lockhart High School powerlifters Leah Ovalle (242-plus) and Joseph Guzman (123) qualified for state meet after placing second and fourth, respectively, at the Region Meet.
Ovalle will lift Saturday at the State Powerlifting Meet in Frisco for Head Coach Josh Gilbert’s Lions.
Guzman will lift Saturday, March 23, at the State Meet in Abilene.
