Winning is always sweet, but doing it with your best performance of the season? Even better. Just ask the Prairie Lea Indians, who dominated the Buckholts Badgers 58-8 in a lopsided matchup Friday night.
The Indians were firing on all cylinders, notching their highest point total of the season and extending their winning streak against Buckholts to four straight games. The home crowd had plenty to cheer about too, it was Prairie Lea’s first win on their own turf this year, improving their record to 2-4.
Up next, the Indians shift their attention to district play. Prairie Lea will look to keep their momentum alive when they host longtime rival Benavides at 7:30 p.m. Friday night.
