Sharlyn Gonzales

Sharlyn Gonzales passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016, in Dale, Texas.
Sharlyn was born on May 7, 1943, in Independence, Mo., to Bertha Annabelle and George Wrigley, who preceded her in death.
She married Manuel Gonzales on May 5, 1962.
Sharlyn is survived by her husband; son, Roman Gonzales of Magnolia, Texas; daughter, Misti Guidry, and husband, Patrick, of Callahan, Fla.

; brother, Eugene (Piper) Wrigley and wife, Emily, of Independence, Mo.;  granddaughters, Erica Gonzales and Alexia Gonzales, and great-granddaughter, Mya Gonzales of Magnolia.  She also leaves behind a large, loving family that she embraced when she married into which includes numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews.
Visitation was held Monday, March 7 from 6 – 7 p.m., with Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at O’Bannon Funeral Home, 210 S. Laurel, Luling, Texas. Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 205 W. Pecan Street, Lockhart, Texas on Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the ALS Association of Texas(alstexas.org)or McMahan Community Women’s Club.
